Familiar face detection

I accidentally deleted a familiar face and now there is no option to add it back in, the camera only recognises the person as unknown and there is no option to add them back as a familiar face.

I’m sorry to hear that. Let’s check — you can add a name of a person in your familiar face library in the Google Home app.

Here’s how: 

1. Open the Google Home app .
2. Tap Settings > Nest Aware > Familiar face detection
3. To add or change the name, tap a face and enter a new name.
