First generation Nest cameras notification in Google Home

I do not see any way to setup and recieve motion notifications on Google home for my first generation Nest cameras. I have a mix of legacy Nest cameras and new battery cameras and would like to received motion notifications in one app. Anyone knows if that is possible?

Sadly, it is not possible. Google Nest decided that its new cameras and doorbells released starting in the fall of 2021 would work ONLY in the Google Home app and NOT in the Google Nest app or on the home.nest.com website, while administration and notifications for our older Google Nest cameras and doorbells would continue to happen ONLY in the Google Nest app (and administration on the home.nest.com website).

Google Nest's Vice President posted this justification for their 2-app approach in Sept. 2021; there has been no update since then: https://www.googlenestcommunity.com/t5/Blog/Message-from-our-GM-Updates-for-our-Nest-customers/ba-p/....  So in our case, we've been using 2 apps for 10 months now.
