Flood light camera power question

i would like to install the flood light cameras in a locations that the power source is tied into a photocell circuit.  Will the camera still work during the day when the power is off? Also has anyone ever used a soffit bracket for these? If so any recommendations would be appreciated.

I'm happy to hear you are considering purchasing a Nest Cam with Floodlight.

Unfortunately, the Nest Cam with Floodlight most likely won't work during the day if it's wired into a photocell circuit. Photocell circuits are designed to turn on lights only during dusk and dawn based on light levels. Since the power is cut during the day, the camera won't have any power to function.
