The light from my Nest floodlight cam suddenly disappeared from Google home. This has happened since before but I still can’t find an explanation as to why. Does anyone have any thoughts. I’ve read through the similar posts but there doesn’t seem to be an answer.

I did a manual reset on the camera attached to the device and it seems to work now. This is the second time this has happened and I don’t see any pattern. Can you please explain why this happened and what I can do to prevent it from happening again?

I am relieved to hear that it's working now, but as for what causes it, It's probably a bug. I don't have any updates on it, but once I do, i'm sure our customers will know.
Best regards,
Brad.

I’ve had my floodlight replaced because a manual reset wouldn’t fix it. Now the new floodlight is having the same issue. Google engineers need to come up with a solution and provide everyone who bought one a solution. If there is no solution a refund for all is in order. This is very frustrating. I thought I got a lemon but now it’s happening again. A none answer has been Google’s answer for many months now. It’s time for a real answer.
