Give these steps a try:
Open the Home app.
- Select the floodlight.
- Open Settings.
- Select What turns on the floodlight.
Motion and motion sensitivity
Turn on the lights when the floodlight’s motion sensor detects activity. You can adjust the motion sensitivity settings to determine when the floodlight will turn on.
You can choose from the following options:
Live viewing
Turn on the floodlight when you view the stream of your Nest Camera at night.
You can toggle this option on or off.
Camera events
Turn on the floodlight when your Nest Camera records an event, except for motion events. This allows the floodlight to turn on based on intelligent detection, like people or vehicles, and activity zones that you have set for your Nest Camera to record.
You can toggle this option on or off.
