Just installed the floodlight with camera. The camera works fine and the floodlight triggers on movement at night. However there are no control settings showing up in the home app for the floodlight such as manual on/off and brightness. We have deleted and added the device several times even after a factory reset and still no controls for the floodlight. Any other suggestions? This happens from both iOS and Android Home app.

We are having the same problem here. Just installed it last weekend. Behavior is just as you described. We have attempted multiple device removals and adds, camera factory reset and power cycles. We also have seen odd low power warnings which may have been from a shoddy power cable design. After firmly resetting the cable connector that seems to have improved. Sure would think Google would be on top of this.

Hi everyone,
Thanks for posting. I'm sorry to hear about the situation that you are experiencing with the Floodlight controls on the Google Home app. I understand how frustrating it can be when things do not work as expected. But don't worry; I can help. In this case, I just need to confirm if you try with these steps:
And to set up the brightness:
If you do not find these settings, please try these steps:

Nothing seemed to work. We ended up exchanging for another unit and the replacement worked fine.

Ditto here. I am picturing that scene in the original Indiana Jones with the giant warehouse full of crates and boxes. Only now it is Google Nest Camera with Floodlight returns. I strongly suspect the power cable/connector between the floodlight base and camera is the culprit...but only a suspicion.

I bought 2 floodlight cameras and they both worked seamlessly for almost a month. Then one of them started to do the exact same thing as y’all mentioned. We tried all the things- restarts, resets, etc. I called Google and they were very helpful. They did some checks and quickly recognized that the floodlight was no longer working with the camera but as 2 separate things. They are replacing it for me. I would say if you start to have this issue, you definitely need to just call the support number.
