So we had a nice dialogue with @Richv03 going under "Nest Outdoor Camera Glass Falls out" but for no reason the conversation was stopped with a "Our team will reach out to you via email anytime soon."
That email was just to repeat that if the camera was within warranty it would be replaced under case number 3-0277000034793
Of course it isn't and unbelievably google don't have a bit of glass to replace it. So the recommendation like so much else in this world is throw it away and buy a new one. ...... "no chance" is the answer that comes to mind.
So the question still stands if google cant sort out a replacement glass has anyone else in the community been able to find something that works? Let us know if you do

Hello chopcat,
Thanks for posting in our Community. I understand how frustrating it can be to not be able to get replacement glass for your Nest camera. While Google Nest does have spare parts for Nest devices, replacement glass isn’t one of them.
I have checked the case ID you included here. The best course of action at this time is to respond to the email sent by the support team with the requested information so they can explore options for you.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Best,
Lance

I have the same issue with mine and they refused to warranty it since it has been about 3 years. I'm so happy I switched my entire house to Amazon/Ring instead. Between this and the Nest secure debacle, they lost a customer forever here.

I am trying to keep mine going but you are right. In choosing equipment now the first question must be what will my back up be so that I can keep things working for as long as possible. We need to get away from this throw away society. I will be replacing mine with a system that I can configure and that has spares available. Will share the details but am also looking at the ring products
