Newly setup Google Nest (i have 3 others, and been using it for years) for a friend.
She has iPhone 14 (fully updated)
We installed the Google Nest (battery), and configured the Google Home application, and configured zone settings.
The issue is - She does not get a notification when someone is in the zone (although it does record it, and we can see the video in the history)
but she DOES get a notification when the doorbell is being rang.
We tried:
Reinstall the Google Home application + allow notifications when it pop'd the allow question.
Verify notifications is all active in the iPhone settings (everything is on by default).
Remove the zone settings and allow all + outside the zone (basically just set everything to yes).
Rebooting the iPhone.
Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks!
