I have 4 Nest Cams -- 2 are on the "old" nest app. But i cant view my new cameras on there. So i downloaded the Google home app. -- but please tell me there is a web client that allows you to view your cameras on a windows machine, and not just a ipad or iphone. 

 

Its bonkers that a company that size doesnt create a web client for google home before " forcing" everyone to the google home app when they but new Nest Cameras or products

Unfortunately, there is no web client for the new Google Nest cameras and doorbells that work ONLY in the Google Home app.  (I agree it's bonkers.)

We have one new Google Nest camera that works ONLY in the Google Home app, while our others work in the Google Nest app and on the home.nest.com. We've been waiting for 8 months for the web client that Google Nest's VP promised was coming in 2022 in this Sept. 29, 2021 post:

Thank you for your feedback on this issue, I fully understand the frustrations of not having your new Nest Cams in the Nest App or available on https://bit.ly/3HtBgJC web app. I can imagine having to use two different apps at the moment is quite daunting, and could lead to frustration. 

 

However, the new Nest cameras and doorbell are exclusive to the Home app because we wanted to create an integrated experience with your speakers and displays. A Nest Aware subscription applies to all of your cameras, speakers, and displays in the same home structure. Thank you for your continued patience, and support.
