Hi Community
I have just purchased a new Nest Doorbell and am trying to install it at my front gate. There is power there and the doorbell caters for a wired option. The adaptor specs are as below:
https://store.google.com/au/product/nest_doorbell_battery_specs?hl=en-GB
- Voltage: 8–24 VAC
- Power: 10 VA
- Frequency: 50-60 Hz
I have purchased an adaptor that is 12VAC, 1Amp, 12VA and 50Hz. Will it be an issue if this adaptor is 12 VA rather than the specified 10VA?
Would really appreciate yur thoughts on this 🙂

Thanks for that - it seems 12 VA is fine so really appreciate your link 🙂
