Hi.
Am I to understand that in 2025, Google Home cannot make a separate sound when the Google Nest Doorbell is activated other than a push notification sound?
Thanks.

We have three 1st gen Google Nest Hello Doorbells (installed in the Google Nest app), which send a "ding-dong" doorbell sound to our iPhones when the doorbell button is pressed (unless I'm wearing my Apple Watch, in which case I get just a generic notification sound). Judging from other posts I've seen in this forum, the 2nd gen Google Nest doorbells (installed in the Google Home app) only produce a push notification sound when the doorbell button is pressed,

Hello, Gheavin
Thanks for reaching out to our Nest Community. We are so happy to assist you with your questions about the sounds in our Google Nest Doorbell cameras.
We appreciate that you are a customer of Google Nest products and that you care about improving them. In addition to standard doorbell tones, seasonal doorbell themes are available around some holidays. You can change the theme or set a different chime sound in the app’s doorbell settings.
When you turn on a seasonal theme, a unique sound greets visitors when they ring the doorbell. If you use visitor announcements for your Google Nest or Home speaker or display, the sound plays on the doorbell and in your home.
After the holiday, your doorbell automatically goes back to the default tone, and the seasonal theme disappears in the app.
We also want to take into consideration your opinion and that of all our clients. Please consider sharing your thoughts directly with our development team through this feedback form. Your input will help us prioritize features and ensure that we're meeting the needs of our diverse user base.
Feel free to keep posting if you have more questions.
regards,
