Yesterday I installed my Goole Nest Cam en Doorbell (battery). I started with the Cam which works perfectly. I got history, face recognition, detection zones etc. During the installation process of the Cam I got the walkthrough to get Nest Aware trial as well (which I activated).
After that, I installed the Nest Doorbell (the new version on battery) but I installed it wired so that it has continuous power, which is shown in the Home app as well (via an infinite symbol on the battery screen). However, I can't access my history for the doorbell nor does it recognise faces and I can't set any alerts for the detection zones. I can create a zone, but the alert section is empty to select which alerts I want.
When I go to the Nest Aware section in the Home app (Gear icon -> Nest Aware) the only camera added there is the Cam. First I thought that I might have to do with the trial, so I got the paid Nest Aware basic plan for a year. Still, the doorbell seems to be functioning as if it is without a Nest Aware subscription (only live feed, no history and alerts except for ringing the bell). I thought that one Nest Aware subscription covers all the Nest products in one home.
Could it be that the doorbell didn't get recognised/added to Nest Aware after installation? Any tips on how to fix this?
Cheers!

Unfortunately, you can't get continuous 24/7 video history with the new Google Nest Doorbell (Battery) even if it is wired, per Google. (I'm just another customer.)
"**24/7 video history is only available for wired Google Nest cameras and Nest Doorbell (wired). Not available for Nest Doorbell (battery), even with optional wired installation."

Hi there,
I apologize for my late response and thank you for all of your patience while waiting for a reply. I definitely understand how frustrating your situation must be, and I wanted to make sure that your concern was acknowledged. I am afraid that @MplsCustomer is correct, 24/7 feed is not available as it draws too much power. It would be specific to event-based footage. You can still purchase the Nest Hello Doorbell (wired) if you would like that feature.
Best Regards,
Brad.
