Google Nest cam and the Nest app

I'm confused... I bought a Nest indoor cam and downloaded and installed the Nest app. I already have a Nest thermostat in the Next app and want to add the cam as well. I also installed the Google home app and installed Hue lights and the thermostat. When i try to add the cam in de Next app, it wants to set it up in the home app and I did and live view works normal. But the cam doesn't appear in the Next app. Shouldn't this be the case or is the Google home app the only place to live view the cam? I can't find any clues on the net to add the cam to the Next app. Hopefully someone has the solution or the right answer.

Thank you for your feedback on this issue, I fully understand the frustrations of not having your new Nest Cams in the Nest App or available on https://bit.ly/3HtBgJC web app. I can imagine having to use two different apps at the moment is quite daunting, and could lead to frustration. 

 

However, the new Nest cameras and doorbell are exclusive to the Home app because we wanted to create an integrated experience with your speakers and displays. A Nest Aware subscription applies to all of your cameras, speakers, and displays in the same home structure. Thank you for your continued patience, and support.
