Hello! I have seven cameras set up over my house to help me keep tabs on my elderly parents. Unfortunately, none of them are compatible with the Nest app. I have to use the Google Home app to access them. This gives me no way to subscribe to Nest aware, so I can have longer than three hour. Please help me. This seems like a huge step backwards for this technology

That is not accurate.
The Nest app is not the same as a Nest Aware subscription.
The "Nest Aware" and "Nest Aware Plus" subscription plans apply to all 1st gen and 2nd gen Google Nest cameras and doorbells in the same Google Nest "home/structure". You view video history provided by a Nest Aware subscription for 1st gen cameras and doorbells in the Google Nest app and you view video history provided by a Nest Aware subscription for 2nd gen cameras and doorbells in the Google Home app.
We've had a "Nest Aware Plus" subscription since 2020. It applies to our 1st gen Google Nest cameras and doorbells AND to our two 2nd gen Google Nest cameras.

k, so you are telling me that if i go to my nest app, go to the "home/structure" and subscribe it will transfer to Google Home?

It depends, and there is no "transfer" involved.
We migrated our Nest Account to a Google Account in 2020 (something Google Nest has been asking customers to do since at least 2019). We did so because it the only way to get a 2nd gen "Nest Aware" or "Nest Aware Plus" subscription (which apply to all Google Nest cameras and doorbells in the same Google Nest "home/structure") is to have migrated to a Google Account. Once we did so, we log into the Google Nest app using the "Sign in with Google" option, and our subscription is managed in the Google Home app.
With all that said, I'm not sure what's going on in your situation. I don't think it's possible to begin or manage a 2nd gen "Nest Aware" or "Nest Aware Plus" subscription from the Google Nest app. And I can't tell what's going on in your Google Nest app and your account. Do you have 1st gen cameras in the Google Nest app? If you've migrated your Nest Account to a Google Account, you should be able to see ALL of your Google Nest cameras and doorbells in the Google Home app, even though full access to settings for 1st gen cameras and doorbells is still available in the Google Nest app and on the home.nest.com website.
So, have you migrated your Nest account to a Google Account? Or did you start using the Google Nest app after Aug. 19, 2019 and were already signing into the Google Nest app using the "Sign in with Google" option using your Google Account? If not, then things might be complicated.
If your Nest Account HAS been migrated OR you were already signing onto the Google Nest app using the "Sign in with Google" option, then you can go to the Google Store to subscribe to Nest Aware; see the link on this page:

Thanks TB, but my subscription was not there. This is so Counterintuitive. I had to go The Google Nest website and subscribe there. There was no link whatsoever in the Google Home app to go here and get the subscription. I guess that’s my frustration! There should be links or buttons or some thing from the app to the subscription site. Now that I have a subscribed on the Nest website website, the subscription shows where you indicated. Thanks for all the help!
