This thread in this forum has a wiring diagram for a Google Nest Hello Doorbell using a Chime Connector with two chimes:

https://www.googlenestcommunity.com/t5/Cameras-and-Doorbells/Need-wiring-diagram-from-wired-nest-doo...

do I need to purchase another "nest" for the second chime which is down a different hallway, altogether?

@MOISE If your second chime is wired in sequence to your first chime, as is normally the case with two chimes (as shown in the diagram), then you should connect the Chime Connector to the FIRST chime--that is, the chime that is wired directly to your doorbell. You should be able to tell from the wiring in your chimes which is wired to your doorbell. In the diagram, the first chime has wires coming into the chime from the doorbell and the transformer AS WELL AS wires going out to the second chime.

You do want to make sure your transformer meets the Google Nest Hello Doorbell requirements:

Hi Moise,

Thanks for reaching out. Included below is a wiring diagram to help guide you with installation.

Here are a few things to keep in mind when installing your Nest Doorbell (wired):

  1. Always turn off the power to your doorbell and chime box before you remove or insert any wires. Use your home's circuit breaker to switch off power. This protects you and your equipment.
  2. Before making any changes, take a picture of your old doorbell wiring. You can use it as a reference when installing Nest Doorbell (wired).
  3. Don’t hesitate to reach out to a Nest Pro for assistance if you become uncomfortable installing the Nest Doorbell (wired) yourself, or if your wiring is unclear or doesn’t match the diagram.
