Hi,
After charging the doorbell, it does not click anymore on the backplate. The small round black pin does not come out of the body of the doorbell anymore.
Any suggestions how to fix it?

There are numerous posts in this forum with the same problem. You could try contacting Support for a replacement doorbell:

Hello everyone,
@Rdb1978, thanks for posting here in the community. Try watching this video clip for the proper way to attach it back to its mount. Hope this helps. Looking forward to your update.

I have sent it back to Google (Rma)

I have the same issue. I removed the unit and brought it into the house to charge.
When I tried to reattach it to the wall mount plate, the locking pin has stayed depressed and will not pop back out to securing it's self to the wall mount.
It now precariously hangs from the mount, locking pin disengaged, no longer secured.
And of course this all happened when my 1 warranty ran out (13 months). Therefore, I cannot return the unit, nor have any sort of support to fix the unit.
My option is to purchase a new doorbell. But what's the point if it is a design flaw that has not been addressed.
Very disappointed with this Google nest product.

@Matja74, we know where you're coming from and this is not the experience we want you to have. To confirm, have you tried watching the link I've shared above? That'll give you an idea on how you can properly mount it. Looking forward to your response.
