Google’s new Nest Doorbell (Battery) doesn’t connect to Amazon Alexa

Hello,

When will Google/Amazon fix this issue? I just spent all day trying to install my new Nest Doorbell (Battery) to find out that it isn’t compatible with my Amazon Alexa devices :(. 

This wouldn’t be a problem, but I also found out that the doorbell isn’t compatible with my Nicor 18888 doorbell chime that came with my house (Built in 2017), as well. Because of this, I currently have no way of having an audible chime throughout the house without having to get additional transformer for my chime or purchasing addition Google home products (Which I don’t want to do).

Similar issue - just purchased three new nest cameras none connect to Alexa. Appears the migration from nest app to the google home app wasn’t will planned and left us with broken comparability. Google has know about this for months… not sure when the fix will be issued. Haven’t found any updates from google in any of the threads.

Alexa is not available on the new 2021 Nest Cams that were just released as far as I am aware. I am not sure why, but I apologize for that inconvenience.

Alexa is not available on the new 2021 Nest Cams that were released as far as I'm aware. I unfortunately do not have any form of ETA to provide.
