Got screwed

This isn’t a getting started question but there was nothing to choose for my problem.

Google indoor/outdoor camera

I got it to work indoors. Moved it outside 5 feet from router, no metal or anything blocking it, it’s online but doesn’t show up in my Nest account. Now battery drained in less than a day. And no image’s

I think we all got screwed

@Twindg

I'm a little confused by what camera you have, because your post says Google Indoor/Outdoor Camera but you say the battery is drained, so I'm assuming you have the Google Nest Camera (Battery).

There are lots of issues reported in this forum with the battery not charging on the Google Nest Camera (Battery), but it should last more than a day. Maybe the battery was low when you got it. You could try charging it with the enclosed 3-meter charging cord; the cord has to be plugged in with the cord feeding towards the FRONT of the camera, and the status light should pulse white when it is charging (https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9268073?hl=en-CA#zippy=%2Cgoogle-nest-cam-battery). If your battery is charged and is 5 feet from the router, it should work.

We've had a Google Nest Camera (Battery) for 14 months, plugged in with the optional power cable; it's about 15 feet from our router and is "Live" all the time (because it is plugged in).
