Trying to restart my subscription for my two nest cameras

Thanks for reaching out to the Community. I understand that you want to subscribe to the Nest Aware program again.  

Great to hear you're looking to reinstate your subscription for your two cameras! Here are some steps and considerations to complete your request.

How to Resubscribe:

  1. Open the Google Home app: This is where you manage your Nest devices and subscriptions.
  2. Ensure that you are in the correct home structure where you want to subscribe to Nest Aware.
  3. Tap Settings, under Subscriptions, tap Nest Aware at the bottom, tap Manage Subscription.
  4. Tap Subscribe.
  5. Tap the plan you want to get (Nest Aware or Nest Aware Plus) and tap Next.
  6. Choose the billing cycle (monthly or yearly) and tap Next.
  7. Review your payment information and tap Subscribe.
  8. A confirmation that you are subscribed to Nest Aware (or Nest Aware Plus) shows up on the screen and you will receive a confirmation email.

Once you've resumed your subscription, you should see your cameras start recording again, and you can access saved footage within the Google Home or Nest app.

Important Considerations:

  • Subscription Plans: Nest Aware offers different plans with varying storage duration and features. Choose the plan that best fits your needs and budget.
  • Camera Compatibility: Ensure both your cameras are compatible with the Nest Aware subscription plan you select.
  • Previous Subscription Data: Resuming your subscription doesn't necessarily restore previously recorded videos. The subscription provides access to new footage from the time of reactivation.
