Help migrating 1st Gen Nest Aware to wired doorbell replacement

My 1st gen nest doorbell recently died after 5 years. Apparently this is a common issue with the battery or something and is total BS. I purchased a new 1st gen nest doorbell on Amazon, and replaced it since the upgraded doorbell. Works fine now but my 1st gen Nest Aware account is not linked to the new doorbell. How do I set this up? It just says Subscription: None under the new doorbell in the app. My Google account still shows I have 1st gen Nest Aware.

Unfortunately, you cannot buy new 1st gen Nest Aware subscriptions any longer:

"Note: As of July 13, 2023, Google will no longer sell new subscriptions of 1st gen Nest Aware. Any 1st gen subscriptions that you currently have will continue to renew."

You'll probably need to cancel that 1st gen subscription and purchase a 2nd gen "Nest Aware" or "Nest Aware Plus" subscription, which have been available since 2019. You should get a pro-rated refund for any unused portion of your 1st gen subscription.

I think you'll need to migrate your Nest Account to a Google Account (https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9297676) in order to purchase a 2nd gen subscription.  (We migrated in 2020.)
