Home Away Assist Camera Feature

I have read most threads and none of them seem to address the fact that since the Google Home App is now the sole method to manage the new nest cameras, no activity can be set for the home away assist feature.

Hello, I believe you can use the home away assist but you have to turn on the PREVIEW mode.  Do this by going into the Google Home app and selecting the settings (Gear) icon in the lower right corner of the main screen.  Scroll all the way down until you see Public Preview and turn it on.   After you are done go back to the same settings menu and you should see something call Presence Sensing.

Thanks for posting. I understand that you are interested in setting the Home Away Assist feature on the Google Home App. I just need to ask, what type of camera do you have?
