Home mini / nest doorbell questions

I am trying to link my google mini to the nest doorbell, as I am getting no sounds from anyone Google mini when pressing the doorbell button. I am getting video on my phone, but no sound. I need to link Google Mini.

Have you turned on "Visitor announcements" in your doorbell's settings? Are your doorbell and mini in the same Google Nest "home/structure"?
