Home not recording events

Hi. I have a Google video doorbell, and camera for outside.  The doorbell is battery powered.  Neither are recording events.  I am subscribed to Nest.  WiFi connection is good.  Anyone have any ideas to fix this issue?

Are your doorbell and camera in the same Google Nest "home/structure" as your Nest Aware subscription?  Which Nest Aware subscription do you have?  If you go to your battery doorbell in the Google Home app and go to Settings | Events | Seen events, do you have recording turned on for at least one event type?  If you go to Settings | Video, which option do you have checked under "Video history"?
