House chime has 6 wires, doorbell wire has 4

I’ve wired many doorbells, but this one has me stumped. There are 6 solid colors connected in the chime, but only 4 at the doorbell. The 4 aren’t solid colors.

Hey Afkbrad,

I am sorry to hear if you are having this issue. It seems like you have an electronic chime that has 6 wires which is complicated and it requires a technician. I would recommend calling a Nest Pro. Please feel free to let me know if you have any other questions from here.

Best regards,

Emerson

I’m trying to wire up a Nest doorbell and the wiring is confusing. There are six wires going to a distribution block for the circuit card. Four more come in for power. Two go to the speaker and it looks like the other two provide the power.

Outside are four wires not hooked to anything (never set up.) None of the outside wires match the colors of the wires in the doorbell.

Pics are attached and I’d love some feedback.
