If you configure notifications for your doorbell, you will get the standard iPhone notification sound (along with the banner, if it is also configured) if sound is turned on for Notifications for the Google Home app on your phone. You cannot configure the sound.

I am also not getting notifications on Android phone, even though notifications are on.

@nadeemrizvi

Do you have Push Notifications turned on under Settings | Notifications?

Do you have any events turned on with notifications turned on for any activity zones?

@Pstiller

Do your settings in the Google Home app for the doorbell look something like this, and do your Notification settings on your iPhone for the Google Home app look something like this?

exactly like that except i don't have the car play  option.

@Pstiller

Earlier last year we quit getting notifications on one of our iPhones.  Deleting and reinstalling the Google Home app, and then making sure the above settings were reset solved the problem.

Hi there,

Sorry to hear you're experiencing this, as I can imagine it has been an inconvenience. I am afraid there is no such option to change the alert sound. Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Best regards,
Brad
