Hello,
Setup in Nest app prompted me to open Home, which I don’t use. That’s the only way I could set it up and it’s the only camera not showing up in Nest now. How do I get it to show up next to my doorbell, indoor cams, and Protects?

Unfortunately all 2021 (and future) Google Nest cameras are not compatible with the Nest app or the Home.Nest.Com website. It is Google Home app only unfortunately.

Wow… do you know the reason that it is not currently compatible? Is the Nest app going away? It’s the only unit in my smart home setup that doesn’t show up in Nest, which is the whole point in buying all Google products!

Google is slowly phasing out the Nest app, a mistake IMO. The Google Home app doesn’t even compare to how functional the Nest app is.

Our Google Nest Battery Camera is the only Google Nest device we have that does NOT work in the Google Nest app or on the home.nest.com website.
