First, is your Nest Aware subscription in the same Google Nest "home/structure" as your doorbell?
Second, I can't tell which doorbell you actually have, since your post says "Nest app (iOS)" and "Nest Doorbell (wired Gen 2)", but the 2nd gen Google Nest doorbell can only be installed in the Google Home app.
If you go to a Google Nest Hello Doorbell in the Google Nest app, and go to Settings | Nest Aware, it should show your Nest Aware subscription.
If you go to a 2nd gen Google Nest Doorbell in the Google Home app and go to Settings | Video history, have you selected a Nest Aware option?
