I can't scroll back in video history on the website

My cameras work fine.  The Wifi works fine.  The video is uploading to the cloud as I can view history on my phone with the app.  What is not working is scrolling back in history on the website (home.nest.com).  When I open the website I get a live view then that's it.  The live view doesn't update and the history doesn't work.  I get a spinning blue circle.

I also only have a spinning blue circle today. And the support page isn't working either

Hey there,


Thanks for bringing up the concern you're having. I'd love to look into this for you. The first troubleshooting step that I'd recommend would be to restart your device. This process should keep all your settings, and reconnect it to the same Wi-Fi network. This might be helpful if it ever freezes, has connection problems, or isn't working normally.

It also won't connect to my mesh wifi. And still just blue circle of nothing... Even on the app it says no activity detected, even when cars and people are coming and going in my driveway zone. This "update" sucks

I restarted the devices and they are working fine.  It is uploading to the cloud as I can see history in the app on my phone.  I just can't see it on the home.nest.com website.  The website is not refreshing.

None of this is relevent to the home.nest.com website not refreshing in Chrome browser.   Again, the cameras are working normally as I can see history in the app on my phone.

Thanks for your patience. I’m sorry for the trouble here. Let’s see what’s going on. If there are multiple open tabs on your web browser window, please close all of it and only keep the Nest website open. Close other browser windows that aren’t in use. Also, close and reopen your Chrome browser.

The website worked for a couple of days, now it's down again. Unless you are in charge of the website you can't help me.

The website never refreshes.  I get the spinning blue wheel and nothing updates.  I can't scroll back in history either.  It only works on the app on my phone but not the website.

Thanks for trying. I’m sorry you’re still having trouble accessing your camera on a web browser.

 

Try deleting the browser’s cookies. Here’s how:

  1. On your computer, open Chrome Chrome.
  2. At the top right, click More More > Settings Settings.
  3. Click Privacy and security > Cookies and other site data.
  4. Click See all site data and permissions > Clear all data.
  5. To confirm, click Clear.

Important: If you remove cookies, you're signed out of websites and your saved preferences could be deleted.

Today the website is working. I expect it will not last, but for now the blue circle of nothingness is gone.
