I purchased a cam from canada as a gift to my parents new home in South America but I’m getting an msg saying error connecting to the cloud try again later can someone help me

Hi there,
I can imagine it has been an inconvenience, and I would love to look into this further for you. I am afraid that because you purchased a device that was purchased in Canada, that camera will not work properly outside of Canada. These products are not meant to be taken out of the country they were purchased in. The Cloud services, etc. will not work the same, and you will not have a fully functioning device.
