Installing 2 nest hello doorbells with only 1 chime connector

I purchased a home with an existing Nest Hello doorbell. The previous owner did not have a chime. I set up the doorbell to my account. I purchased a second used Nest Hello with the chime connector. I am now wiring up these two doorbells with a transformer and inside chime. I only have 1 chime connector. Do I need a second chime connector? if so, where can I purchase one from?

Yes, you need a separate chime connector for each Google Nest Hello Doorbell. Google Nest does not sell any spare parts, unfortunately. Sometimes people have found used chime connectors on sites like eBay.

Sometimes Google Nest Support (https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp) provides replacements if you are under the 1-year warranty; you could contact them and see what they'll do in your case.

The thread below has a diagram for 2 Nest Hellos:

Thank you. That does suck that you are required to use this device, but Google doesn't sell accessories. Guess I will only wire one doorbell.

@kev2504

The purpose of the chime connector is to provide continuous low power to keep the doorbell's camera operating without tripping the chime.  If you have a Nest Hub or Nest Mini or Nest speaker(s), you can turn on "Visitor announcements" for your doorbell to get notifications without an indoor chime (https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/7672451?hl=en).

Can't you give this customer one of your "Forms" so they can get a chime connector for their existing already-installed Nest Hello doorbell?

The doorbell came with the house when we bought it, and they didn't have a chime. Converted the doorbell to my account. Google will not sell the chimes by themselves. Just not worth it. Maybe it's time to move away from the Google products.

Nope. Since I can't get a chime connector, I will not use the Nest Hello doorbell. Looking into other options for video doorbells. Google is just not that accommodating to accessory parts.
