Keeps disconnecting - so frustrated!

My Google home battery doorbell keeps going off with the message that it’s “unreachable or saving battery”. The battery is at 94%.
I’ve spoken to the help desk numerous times who had me factory reset it and can finally get it working but a day later same thing!

I’ve had it for 2yrs and it only just started doing this out of the blue. Wifi is strong, no other issues.

Appreciate your help!!

Do you have a nest WiFi pro router setup?  I’m experiencing the same with nest doorbell wired 3rd gen (and 2nd gen I had previously) - went offline and could not get to come back - tried factory reset and could never get it to set back up with nest WiFi system (needed a different router to get it to set up).  Seems to be something with firmware versions from what I’m gathering, potentially doorbells using 2.4 ghz band causing issues with whatever updates google has done.

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out to the community. I understand that you have a Nest Doorbell (Battery) that keeps going off, saying “unreachable or saving battery," even though the battery is at 94%. I appreciate your effort by contacting our support before and trying the factory reset, and I know how frustrating it can be when using your device goes with the same issue again. I’m here to help.

To better understand the issue, I’d like to ask a few questions:

  • Did you notice or experience any power outages recently?
  • Do you have a wired or a wireless setup?
  • What is the color of the LED light in the device?
  • How far is the doorbell from the Wi-Fi point?
  • Is your Wi-Fi 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz?

Please check your IPv6 settings. This configuration is essential for your doorbell to function correctly.

@Chalupa29, thanks for the shared information.

I’ll be waiting for your response.

Best regards,

Sara
