Live feed keeps on spinning unable to look at live feed or takes up to 2 -5 min to see it anything

I have two cameras, one for the front one for the back. It seems to be more so in the back where I can’t even see the live feed or even look at recorded events because all the camera does is just keep spinning and spinning it takes about sometimes two up to five minutes for it to stop. This has been happening the last two months I would say it seems to be getting worse and worse now my subscription is renewing this coming month and they raise the prices to 200. If this is gonna continue to happen, I’ll just cancel my subscription  because I’ve did all the troubleshooting. Uninstalled it the reinstalled more than 1 time  still does the same thing anyone else experiences this lately?

Hi Hollywood1674,

Thank you for posting in the community. I'm sorry that you're experiencing trouble with your Nest camera that doesn't show the live feed or recorded events. I understand how frustrating this can be. I can help you with that.

Before I begin, I need to ask a few questions for further assistance:

  • What type of Nest camera do you have?

  • Are you signed into the Nest app or Google Home app?

  • If so, are you signed into the right account?

  • Did anything change in the home or with the camera around that time?

  • Do you have a Nest Aware subscription? If so, what type of Nest Aware subscription do you have?

  • Is all of your history missing or just certain portions?

  • How is the Wi-Fi connection in that part of the house?

  • How is the internet connection in general? Do you have any troubles with any devices going offline, slow downloads, too many people online at once, etc.?

  • How far is the router from the Nest cameras?

Please keep me posted. I'll look forward to your response.

Regards,

Byron
