Live video unavailable. Recordings ok

I migrated my best camera outdoor from the nest app to Google home.

 Whilst movement recognition etc is working fine, and I can see recorded snippets in the Google home app, live video feed is almost always unavailable. I hear audio for 10s or so then the error

i can even see clips from mere seconds ago.

 Going to try migrating back to the nest app

 this was working ok in the nest app

Having transferred back to nest, live video is working just fine, as it was before.

 So this seems an issue with the Google home app or infrastructure behind it?

 Didn’t make migrating a good plan 😞

@planetf1

We are not using the "Public Preview" option of the Google Home App and are not transferring any of our 1st gen cameras to the Google Home app because there are still so many Nest app functions that are lacking the Google Home app:

This list does NOT mention that the home.google.com website still does not provide the same access to history and administration that the home.nest.com website provides.

Tried again, get live video, but noticed the notifications in iOS don’t have image preview

 I see this was discussed as coming soon 2.5 years ago !!

 Back to nest!

I was considering getting more cameras but this experience is suggesting to me that I will go to a different brand
