Live video unavailable intermittently

When viewing the video feed in the app, the feed is black with a spinning wheel. It will turn on but then it always turns off. It does that intermittently every few seconds and I sometimes see a note that says camera unavailable or saving battery even though it’s a plugged in system.

 

We did a factory reset but it didn’t solve the issue.

I've also been experiencing this, only with my Nest Doorbell (Battery). I've been unable to view a live feed for a couple of days now - but I can still see event history fine.

Thanks for reaching out here in the Community. To know more about this issue, I’d like to confirm, how far is your Nest Camera and Nest Doorbell from your Wi-Fi router? What is the signal strength of your Wi-Fi from your Nest devices? Try restarting your Wi-Fi router and Nest devices to refresh their connections. Let us know how it goes.

Hi. In the end a factory reset on my doorbell sorted my issue.

@Smharari, have you tried restarting your WiFi router or resetting your Nest Camera? Here is a link on how to restart or factory reset your Nest camera or doorbell.

Tried a factory reset. Did not fix thr problem.

Thanks for getting back to us. To further isolate this issue, we wanted to know how you performed the reset? What is the light status of your Nest Camera now? Try relocating your Nest Camera and check if you'll get the same issue. Also we would appreciate it if you could share the information we're asking above.

we removed the camera from the app, took the camera off the magnet, pressed the button for 30 seconds, reinstalled it.
