We’ve just renovated and our contractor discarded the nest piece that goes into the chime box! Does anyone know how I can get a replacement?

Unfortunately, unlike its competitors, Google Nest does not sell spare parts for its cameras and doorbells.
However, if your Google Nest Hello Doorbell is less than a year old and is within the one-year-warranty period, you could try contacting Google Nest Support to see if they'll provide a replacement Chime Connector for your Nest Hello: https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp

Really? That is extremely disappointing to hear. If the competitors are providing an option to purchase replacement parts, can’t believe Google wouldn’t do the same to retain its market share.

When I contacted the Google Store in June about why they don't sell any spare parts, this is what they said via email:
"I understand that you're inquiring about the spare parts of our Nest Devices."
"I do apologize if this isn't available on the Google Store. I hope you understand that the reason for this is because whenever customers like you have issues with a part of their Nest devices, we can simply replace them for you. This means you don't have to buy it anymore from us and you can get them for free, as long as you're under warranty."
"As much as possible, we want to provide a positive customer experience. We don't want to charge you for this, so we give it to you without that."
When I asked the Google Store via chat, this is what they said:
"The thing is though, in the Google Store, we only sell full Nest devices and not spare parts. Our spare parts are intended for warranty claims only, which you can request from Google Nest. The reason for this is because we have a technical team dedicated in replacing parts of your Nest devices, so they don't have to sell it to you anymore."
