Lost security screw for Nest Doorbell

My son, bless his heart, lost the security screw for my wired Nest doorbell.  Can someone tell me what size screw I need to buy to replace it?

Thank you

Hello DGreenwald,

Thanks for reaching out here in the Community. To know more about this concern, could you tell us if you have the 1st gen of Nest Doorbell? or if you could post here the picture of your Nest Doorbell? Also, send us the photo of the part where the screw should be screwed. Looking forward to your response.

Thanks,

Emerson

Hi DGreenwald,

I'm dropping by to ensure that everything is covered here. How's it going with your Nest Doorbell? We would appreciate it if you could share the information I’m asking above. Also, were you able to perform the steps I’m suggesting? We'd be glad to hear from you.

Regards,
Emerson

Emerson, I’m struggling to figure out how to attach the photos.  Any help?

Hey DGreenwald,

We appreciate you getting back to us. To confirm, are you using your mobile phone or your computer's we browser? In case it's your phone, you'll see the 3 dots above the comment field, hit that and you'll see more options. Then you'll see the camera icon which gives you the option to insert your photos. Let us know how it goes.

Best,
Emerson

Hello DGreenwald,

Thanks you for your update. It seems that you have the Nest Doorbell (2nd gen, wired) version. Based on this video, the size of the hex key is 3/32 or 2 1/2 mm. We would recommend you to bring your hex key to your nearest hardware store and get a hex screw that would fit. Let us know how it goes.

Regards,

Emerson
