Low Battery Notifications

PeachesDoorbell

How can I turn on low battery notifications? I opened my Home app to check the history and it’s telling me both of my doorbell cams are low battery. I didn’t receive any notification that they needed to be charged. I can’t need to check to my app every day to see if my doorbell might need a charge. It’s also not useful if my security doorbell is dead without me knowing.

Hi PeachesDoorbell,

Thanks for reaching out here in the Community. Your Google Home app has a feature that would show you how much time you have left until your Nest Doorbell will need to be charged. Your app will also notify you once your Nest Doorbell needs to be charged. Make sure that your Notification and Critical Alerts are enabled. Looking forward to your response.

Emerson

Hi EmersonB,

Is there a way to be notified before my battery needs to be charged? Like when it’s at 25% battery left, for example?

Hello PeachesDoorbell,

We appreciate you getting back to us. When your Nest Doorbell's battery drops to 20% or less, you'll get a prompt that the battery is low. Hit this link for more information about the charging time of your Nest Doorbell. Looking forward to your response.

Regards,

Emerson

Hi PeachesDoorbell,

Just one quick final check in here since activity has slowed down. We'll be locking the thread in the next 24 hours, but if you still need help, we would be happy to keep it open. If there's more we can do, just let us know.

Thanks,
Emerson
