Miss event, not recording sometime, people

my camera could be recording nothing sometimes, but then it said event not recording loss it’s not down to my Internet connection. I think it’s a server between my camera and your server this needs to be fixed. I cannot be paying for something and missing event recorded, I can see people driving into my driveway After, but before it said no event, this is a joke

Thanks for posting in our Community. I’m sorry to hear that you’re having issues with your Nest camera. Let’s check it out.

A few questions: what model of Nest camera do you have? Are you using an iOS or Android device? Does it go offline when there's a person? Did you notice if the camera lost power during the event?

Please toggle the event settings off and then back on. Follow the steps below:

• Open the Google Home app.
• Tap Favorites or Devices.
• Tap and hold your device's tile > More > Settings.
• Select Events.
• Turn off each event setting, then turn them back on.
• Have someone stand in front of the camera to trigger an event and check if it was recorded.

You can also use this tool to help you troubleshoot event video history.
