My iPhone does not ring when my wireless doorbell is pressed

I've installed my new google wireless doorbell.

When the doorbell is pressed I do not receive a sound notification on my phone.

A small visual notification pops up with a very short chime but this is useless if my phone is in my pocket or on the other side of the room.

I do not have any google speakers or smart devices to play a sound.

So every-time my doorbell is pressed I miss the visitor/delivery.

Is there anyway I can receive a sound notification such as a chime or ringtone on my phone when the doorbell is pressed???

I'm just another customer who has seen posts from other customers asking for the same thing, but Google Nest does not provide for a chime or ringtone sound on our phones when a Google Nest doorbell is pressed.

Thanks for the reply. That’s what I fear…however in all the reviews I read & watched this wasn’t mentioned. 
Looks like I’ll be returning the doorbell…no point having it if it doesn’t give a doorbell ring phone notification.
