NEST DOORBELL WONT WORK WITH WORKSPACES

Unless there is a fix, the only recommendation is to return your Nest Door Bell and go with RING as it does not work with Google Workspaces email addresses. The funny thing is, everything else works just fine using my Workspaces email just not google products.

@rpalmer

I'm just another Google Nest customer; Google Nest requires a Google (gmail) account to use the Google Home app (and therefore to use the Google Nest Doorbell (Battery).

Hi there,

Sorry to hear you're experiencing this, but you are only able to use a Gmail account with these devices and the app. Thank you for your help, MplsCustomer.

Best regards,

Brad

Hi Brad,

Why then can I use my workspaces email for photos, Google home and everything else?

While you may be able to use your workspaces email for photos and other things, you can only use Gmail accounts with Google/Nest devices. We appreciate your feedback though, as we are always striving to make improvements. Please leave any additional information in the app, so our engineers can look over this inquiry.

Best regards,

Brad
