I have had a NEST account and cameras and a smoke alarm for 5 years. On the 26th I deleted my Gmail account because I just simply don't use it. The next day I get 4 emails saying all my cameras were "removed from my account". I recovered my Gmail account but my NEST account and cameras are crippled. I've tried everything to recover my account and the app just keeps giving me error messages. I tried reinstalling the app numerous times and in an act of desperation tried setting up a new account. When I finally thought I was getting somewhere setting up a home it just went in circles asking me to setup home. I closed it and tried reopening the app and we are back to error messages. I tried calling customer service but all I get is some "Handy" nonsense. I clicked #4 for tech support and I was promptly told my phone is no longer active. Tried my Wife's phone and was told the same thing. I'm out of ideas. I have $1500 of worthless devices mounted to my house, no security and no fire and CO warning. Can someone please give me some direction?

I think when you delete the Google Account that you use to log into the Google Nest app, Google Nest automatically removes any Google Nest devices from your account. If that's what happened, you'll probably need to reinstall them in the Google Nest app. You might have to also do a factory reset on them before reinstalling.
To contact Support, we've used the following to get a callback from Support:
1. Go to https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp.
2. Select a category/product family, and type in a brief description of the issue, then click "Next".
3. Click "Other", then click "Next step".
4. Under "Resources", just click "Next step". (Clicking one of the listed links will bring up a Help page.)
5. Under "Contact options", choose to get a phone call or chat with the team, depending on availability in your country.

I've tried accessing the Nest app with no success. All I get are error messages. I can"t even add devices.

Try contacting Support to find out what your actual alternatives are.
Since Google Nest removed all of your Google Nest devices when you deleted your Google Account, maybe it also disabled or even deleted the Nest Account and associated Google Nest "home/structure" as well, in which case you might need to create a new Google Nest "home/structure" and reinstall all of your devices. I'm not finding any online Help that indicates what actually happens when you deleted the Google Account used with Google Nest products.
