Minimal features displayed for Nest Outdoor Cam

Hello,

I migrated my Nest Outdoor Cams to Google Home App. After the migration, I was able to adjust notification, video quality, etc. 

 

The Next day I check the app and those features are no longer there. How do I get these features back so I can adjust video quality and the type of notifications I get?

I’m sorry for the inconvenience that you’ve been experiencing with your Nest Cam Outdoor. I can see that you have already migrated your cameras from the Nest app to the Google Home app. You were able to adjust the settings for the cameras, but after a couple of days, those features are no longer in the settings of the camera. No worries, help is here.

To better assist you, I need some extra information. Here I have a couple of questions for you:

  • How many cameras have you transferred to the Google Home app?
  • How many cameras are showing the same issue?
  • Are you able to see the settings of your camera in the Nest app?
  • What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

Hello,

2 of my cameras have been transferred from  nest to google home. Both cameras have the same issue.

I removed both cameras from the app and then reinstalled them. I can no longer update the camera on the nest app since they have been transferred to google home.

We haven't transferred any of our cameras, but you're supposed to be able to transfer them BACK to the Google Nest app (all except the camera in the Nest Hub Max):
