NEST ERROR CODE FOR OUTDOOR CAMERA C 325 WANTS ME TO ENTER CORRECT SECURITY TYPE ?

Supposedly, this error message seems to mean either your Wi-Fi has a hidden network name (SSID) and you typed it in incorrectly, or you specified a security type that is different from the one your Wi-Fi network is using.

@ecliff thanks for posting here in the community. I'm sorry to hear if you're having this C325 error code. No worries, let's check our options here. This can happen when you’re trying to connect to a hidden Wi-Fi network, and you entered the information manually. You may have picked an incorrect security type for your Wi-Fi network.

 

Give these steps a try:

  • Double check your Wi-Fi network’s security type. For example, this error may appear if your Wi-Fi network’s security type is WPA but you selected WEP during setup.
  • In the app, tap Try again. Re-enter your Wi-Fi information. When prompted, select the correct security type for your Wi-Fi network.
  • If you’re still having trouble, you can try temporarily un-hiding your Wi-Fi network so that your camera can find and connect to it automatically. Then, when you’re ready, you can hide your network again.
