Halloween means we've had a loooad of front door visitors which means a load of incorrect familiar face detections on my Nest Doorbell.
I've gone through every Event and given the 👍 or 👎 to each face that was detected. I've then gone into Familiar Faces and deleted or removed any that were incorrectly detected/assigned.
But STILL these incorrect names come up in the Nest history.
E.g. some trick or treating stranger comes up as "John". I click the event and the face icon, it asks if John was in the event, I say no (👎) it says thanks for the feedback. I then go to Familiar Faces, open John and remove the photo that it has added (this really should be automatic after saying no above, BTW), then go back to the history, refresh, and it still lists the event as John.
Surely after doing all of the above, this should update to Unfamiliar Face?

Hi Abbaskip,
Thanks for reaching out to our community.
I'm sorry to hear that, despite going through each event and approving or rejecting each face that was identified, your Google Nest Doorbell is not updating the names of familiar faces in history; instead, it is loading incorrect familiar face detections. This difficulty continues. Thank you for sharing the troubleshooting methods you took to remedy the difficulty. No worries; I would be delighted to assist you in finding a solution.
Before we get started with further troubleshooting, let me ask you some important questions:
In the meantime, please try to turn off and on "Familiar Face Detection" following the below steps:
If you are using the Google Home app, please follow these steps:
If you are using the Nest app, please try with the following instructions:
Please let me know how it goes.
Best regards,
Virna

Hi
I'm using the Home app.
I've tried turning Familiar Faces off and then back on, and it doesn't make a difference. Whatever face the Nest initially detects is the face that remains listed in the Nest Doorbell history of the Home app.
I'm all but certain this isn't just an issue with my Nest and if a larger Google issue. I feel like it uses the 👍 👎 to help with future recognition, but doesn't change the description of the event in the history.
