Hello - I've had a Google Nest Doorbell w/ Camera for 5 years now, but I'm switching to a new Google Nest Doorbell w/ Camera (wired, 3rd generation). Can I still use the Google Nest app or do I need to cancel it and switch to the Google Home app when installing it? Thanks!

The newer 2nd and 3rd generation Google Nest doorbell and cameras only get installed in the Google Home app and cannot be installed in or accessed from the Google Nest app.
If you have a 1st gen Nest Aware or Nest Aware Plus subscription for your 1st gen Google Nest Hello Doorbell, you will need to cancel that subscription (you should get a pro-rated refund) and instead purchase a 2nd gen Nest Aware or Nest Aware Plus subscription (now called Home Premium). You should cancel your 1st gen subscription BEFORE you get a 2nd gen subscription; once you are on a 2nd gen subscription, you unfortunately can no longer access your 1st gen subscription.
(We're still using our 1st gen Google Nest Hello Doorbells.)
