Need wiring diagram to connect Nest Hello and 2nd Gen Nest doorbell to single chime

I’ve seen a couple posts on this topic started, but no resolution from Google. Is it possible or not to run my original Nest Hello doorbell camera on the same single chime to which I want to add a new 2nd Gen wired doorbell? I already have an upgraded transformer. I bought the 2nd Gen thinking this would work, but I intend to return it if it won’t. Can Google provide the necessary wiring diagram, please?

You've been linked to a illegal organized hacking your info has been saved at this time your being reviewed. You will be in contact with extensions of appropriated authority soon enough. If you aren't involved and are using somebody else's account I suggest you learn from there mistakes and refrain from outward malicious intent towards others YOU DONT KNOW. THATS HOW YOU END UP IN A BAD SPOT FOR NOTHING THAT COULD HAVE BEEN PREVENTED. Will be in contact, I got your info..

Hi folks,

@MikeinOmaha, thanks for bringing this up. To confirm, where are you located? What is the power rate of your upgraded transformer? You may share its picture here. For Nest Doorbell 2nd gen, you need a transformer that is rated for 16-24 V AC, 10-40 VA to provide enough power to your doorbell. If you've already installed your doorbell and you see a blinking yellow light on the front, your doorbell isn't receiving enough power. You may follow the common wiring configurations in our public article “Upgrade your transformer for Nest Doorbell (wired, 2nd gen).

@boblazar, we appreciate your posting in the Community. You've reached Google Nest support. If you have questions or concerns about your Nest devices, kindly post it here and we'd be glad to help.

Regards,

Emerson

Thanks. I have the appropriate transformer, which I intend to install once I know it’s possible to wire my original Nest Hello on one door and a 2nd gen doorbell on another door all through a single chime. Can Google provide a wiring diagram for that, please? Or is it just not possible?

Hello MikeinOmaha,

Thanks for getting back to us. There's a wiring diagram from the link I've shared. You may check the "Two Nest doorbells, two chimes" diagram.

Regards,

Emerson

Thanks. But the two-doorbell diagram is for two 2nd Gen doorbells. I need one that combines 1st gen Hello doorbell with 2nd gen. They wire differently.

Hi everyone,

@MikeinOmaha, thanks for reaching out to the Community.

While we don’t have a wiring diagram on how to connect a Nest Hello and a 2nd Gen Nest Doorbell (wired, 2nd gen) to a single chime, you may contact a Nest Pro to help you with the devices.

In the US, you can contact our installation partner, OnTech. For all other countries, you can book an appointment with a Nest Pro. You can check out this handy guide for more information about Google Nest professional installation services.

Let me know if you have any questions.

I appreciate your help, Emerson.

Best,

Lance
