I have tried 35 times to get a password reset email. What the heck do I have to do in order to log in to my account on my computer? I certainly cannot risk doing anything with my phone app - lest I lose3 all access. I need a one hour segment from Saturday...

If you can log into the Google Nest app or Google Home app on your phone, why are you requesting a password reset email? Can't you just log in with the same username and password you are using on your phone? The most likely reason for not receiving a password reset email is that you are inadvertently trying to use the wrong email address.

I've only ever used one account for nest. The one I'm trying to use now.

Well, the most common reason for not getting a password reset email is inadvertently trying to use an incorrect email address, one that is not Google Nest's system.
But you could try contacting Support to see if something else is going on, or if they can trigger the password reset email:
1. Go to https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp.
2. Select a category/product family, and type in a brief description of the issue, then click "Next".
3. Click "Other", then click "Next step".
4. Under "Resources", just click "Next step". (Clicking one of the listed links will bring up a Help page page.)
5. Under "Contact options", choose to get a phone call or chat with the team, depending on availability in your country.
