Nest App no longer showing preview of notification on my Android

In the last two weeks, I am no longer receiving a preview of the camera notification from my Nest App. I have 10 cameras on the Nest App and 1 camera on Google Home App. The preview is blank and now I have to open the app to see the event.  Never had an issue prior to this.  One thing to mention, my doorbell camera on the Google Home app previews are appearing as they should.  So why does the Nest App not working anymore? I checked all my Android notification settings and they are all correct.

Thanks for reaching out here in the Community. To know more about this issue, I’d like to confirm, were there any recent changes on your Nest app settings? Do you have other home members who have access to the same Nest Cameras? Try reinstalling your Nest app to make sure you have the updated version.

There have been no setting changes and I confirmed I am using the most updated Nest App version. No other users are on the my Nest Cameras.  I also have removed & reinstalled the Nest App and still continue to have the issue.

Hi Huntn4u,

 

I appreciate your update. Try using a different mobile phone, tablet or iPad and check if you'll get the same issue. Try restarting your Nest Camera and Wi-Fi router to refresh their connections to the Nest servers.

I have uninstalled the app and reinstalled. I have removed the cameras and reinstalled the cameras. I have reset the modem and change my Wi-Fi password. I'm still having the same issue no preview notification. At this point I'm paying for a service that I can't use. This is so frustrating. I have a ticket open with Google nest for weeks now and still no resolution.

I have this problem too. So far, none of the troubleshooting suggestions here have worked. 

Just had a system update from Android so maybe the app isn't keeping up with those updates? Really frustrating to have to open the app to see; the pull-down preview from the notification was so convenient.
