Is it possible to view the Nest Cam on a PC?  I am not seeing this option.

Depends on what camera you have.  If it’s a nest camera prior to the google acquisition, yes.  If it’s a google nest camera, no.  Google’s priorities are not that of the users.  Google just rolled out their latest update.  The hub now wishes you happy birthday. That’s the priority. Cameras and other useful integrations?  Maybe next year.  But we get birthday kisses..😡

How ridiculous.  $329 for two cams and you are limited to viewing on a smartphone or tablet?  Come on Google, do better.  This is an easy fix that your competition has figured out.  Time to rethink Arlo.

I agree...the crazy thing is they already have figured it out!!  The nest app works great online.  These new cameras are branded "nest" but they don't work with the nest app.   I don't understand how a company could care so little for their customers.   Retuning the camera I bought this weekend starting to make the switch over to another brand that thinks about the user experience.

Hey folks,

Thank you for your feedback on this issue, I fully understand the frustrations of not having your new Nest Cams in the Nest App or available on https://bit.ly/3HtBgJC web app. I can imagine having to use two different apps at the moment is quite daunting, and could lead to frustration.

However, the new Nest cameras and doorbell are exclusive to the Home app because we wanted to create an integrated experience with your speakers and displays. A Nest Aware subscription applies to all of your cameras, speakers, and displays in the same home structure. Thank you for your continued patience, and support. I am more than happy to assist you further with this inquiry if you wish. Please let me know.

Best Regards,

Brad.

Do you have a solution so we can view our Google Home cameras on a browser yet?

Seems like an odd question to ask since there doesn't seem to be a solution and your previous responses don't address the problem.

By the way- "daunting" is when you have a large amount of work to do and not enough time.   What we are dealing with is being hoodwinked when you buy something that is branded a certain way and then after you install it you realize that what you bought is not what you thought it was.   CHANGE THE BRANDING or fix the problem.  Can't be that hard.

@mikeg11

We do not have a date yet, but there are plans to bring a Google Home web app for desktop. I hope it comes out soon! Community Specialists are not privy to that information at this time.

Best regards,

Brad.

Lol you mean Chromecrap Tv integration and birthday wishes are not your top priority? well they are to Google.  As for the rest of us who invested in the nest ecosystem we get crippled Nest integration and limited usability. But, we get Happy Birthday from our hubs.  Now that’s customer care LMAO
