Nest Cam will add successfully to Home, but get a tried to download an update. Gets stuck on "0% downloaded" before getting a message "there may be a problem, something went wrong. You may have to reset your device."
I've done reset, factory reset on camera. Removed / uninstalled home app, reset wifi router. Camera shows as offline in the home app. Tried installing in a new home, new room etc. etc.
All out of ideas and I've been at it for hours and can't find anything online. Any suggestions anyone?

Hello Steeveegee, I am an end user like you. All I can think of is make sure the app on your phone is up to date. Or maybe try doing the update from another family members device and see if it works that way.
You many need to contact Google Tech support to have them help you with this. Here is a link that will let you open a support ticket. Once you answer the questions you will be able to escalate to a phone call with a tech person if you want to. Probably a good idea to set aside about an hour between hold times and they will no doubt want to do some basic trouble shooting.
